ugh. my stomache just took a turn for the worse.
I feel like I’m living in a bad remake of bladerunner (the overall darkness came to mind, nothing specific).
“back in 03, congress wrote some bad laws which essentially allowed free-rein for malignant worms & viruses to perform seek & destroy ops on illegal copies of copyrighted material. unfortunately, once all these clever programs were on the loose, the consequences were NOT forseen. In an escalating cycle of attack, defend, revenge, things just got out of hand, or should I say the autonomous programs gained the upper hand. we became powerless to stop them. …”
