Blame it on Keller.
No, nobody died, but my long dormant interest in collecting stamps has been revived and I blame Keller.
Now he of course held topical collecting in disdain, and I can understand that, but nonetheless, I’m beginning my online stamp album with one of my favorites, a Swedish stamp from 1978 that depicts a variety of mushrooms.
There’s a larger version on Flickr; it’s worth looking at to see the fine detail in this nicely engraved stamp.
That is cool as are the others you shared. I love old stamps but do not collect. I think they are so detailed & cool. Seems likes ours now are quite plain. Colourful maybe, but not the little mini photos like of old.
