Encouraged by Sheryl, I tried photographing lightning for the first time last night. Being a bit paranoid, I took the photos through the car window, using the dash as a tripod. The results aren't bad, but the extra layer of glass did introduce some distortion (color fringing, mainly).
This view is facing north, from the west end of Coronado Heights. May 29th, 2006.
