Wookey Hole Cave

Wookey Hole Cave || Canon350d/EF17-55/F2.8EFS@33 | 1/10s | f2.8 |  IS1600 | handheld

These bright colors highlight some of the interesting rock formations in the Wookey Hole Cave. September 2006.

On a technical note, this is a handheld shot at 1/10 of a second shot using the ASA 1600 setting. The sharpness and clarity are fairly good for a handheld shot with such a long exposure; that's due to my new Canon EF17-55 lens that opens up to 2.8 and also has a built-in image stabilization system. The extremely low noise is pretty much par for the course for modern Canon sensors.
